A Cory Trilogy Part Two: The Magnificent Seven
Filmed live at Town Hall, Birmingham on Saturday 30 November 2024, Cory Band, conducted by Philip Harper, present part two of their extended trilogy programme, The Magnificent Seven.
Following King Kong, the first part of the series, this second concert takes on a western theme, with music inspired by classic film scores. The performance blends detailed brass playing with visual storytelling and plenty of character. With its mix of strong playing, clever moments, and a fun atmosphere, The Magnificent Seven brings something new.
The first half of the programme is a classic concert, which includes solos from Principal Cornet Tom Hutchinson and Principal Euphonium Glyn Williams.
