EIBBSS 2023 - 10th Anniversary Concert
We recently spent a wonderful weekend filming the final concerts at the Elgar International Brass Band Summer School. We had a great time with the delegates and tutors alike and we really hope the brilliant atmosphere comes across in these entertaining concert videos.
The second concert we bring you was performed on the Saturday evening in Bromsgrove School on Saturday 29 July 2023. A concert of two distinct but equally delightful, halves, the 80-strong delegates band show off the culmination of all their hard work for the week with an entertaining and varied programme, including guest soloist Stephanie Binns and the exciting test-piece, Legend of Lions. Then Cory Band takes to the stage with their usual incredible standard of performance and programming. Daniel Thomas is the special guest in this half, giving the second ever performance of Judith Bingham’s new Euphonium Concerto – Venice.
