RNCM Brass Band Festival 2023 - Brighouse & Rastrick Band
The closing concert of the 2023 RNCM Brass Band Festival was played by Brighouse & Rastrick Band, conducted by Russell Gray and featured Isobel Daws (trombone). It included two world premieres, by Arthur Butterworth and Edward Gregson; the latter is a tribute to Bramwell Tovey. Following closing words from Paul, at the end of his final festival, he was invited to conduct the encore, Praise. The concert is introduced by Simone Rebello and Paul Hindmarsh and was filmed in the RNCM Concert Hall on Sunday 29 January 2023.
